A balanced nutrition is having a burger on your right hand and another burger on your left. Almost everyone knows that I grew up hanging out at my favorite burger joint in my neighborhood, which is right next to a popular coffee shop. I have loved eating there since, what, 18 years ago or so (I was still a toddler then!)? The place always had that fun and energetic vibe, great for family and friends to gather and enjoy a scrumptious filling meal of American burgers and other classic American dishes with a mix of Southwestern-inspired and international flavors.

Now there’s more to enjoy outside the usual mouthwatering burgers you’ve come to love with your ice-cold beer and margaritas. A few weeks ago, I had an awesome time discovering their menu of Craft Burgers over a Thursday dinner.
What better way to kick off the evening but with their signature margaritas and cocktails. Of course, I started with the Strawberry Frozen Margarita per usual. The Patron Pomegranate Margarita proved to be my favorite pick of the night, which is made with 100% blue agave, blended with Cointreau Orange Liqueur, pomegranate syrup, a spatter of 7-Up and with a base of Patron Silver Tequila.

Guacamole Burger P465
Topped with fresh guacamole, melted Monterey Jack cheese, roasted jalapenos, sautéed red and green bell peppers, caramelized onions and cumin-lime sour cream
It’s like eating a balanced meal. You have your veggies in the red and green bell peppers that are packed with a slightly sweet peppery taste and the sweet smoky caramelized onions, and protein from your Signature Big Mouth burger beef patty that’s juicy and grilled to perfection. The Monterey Jack cheese further defines the burger with a sharper taste while the cumin-lime sour cream points the balance.
The fresh guacamole adds all that oomph to the burger, lifting up the brightness of a bite and adding that soggy spongy texture. Mmm-mm! Ole!
Sweet and Smoky Burger P485
Pepper Jack cheese, bacon, red onion, crispy onion rings, mango-infused BBQ sauce and Chili’s Signature sauce
Crrrrrunch. Onion rings done right can shove any French fry aside. This one, golden and crispy, over Chili’s Sweet and Smoky Burger with Pepper Jack cheese, bacon, red onion and slathered with the tangy fruity sweet mango-infused BBQ sauce has flavors grabbing at you.

Cheddar cheese, bacon, crispy onion rings, and Chili’s Signature sauce. Served with a side of Chili’s classic BBQ sauce

Skillet BBQ Sliders P435
Interestingly, the Skillet BBQ Sliders is a fun order for the kids and kids at heart like me. It is build your own mini burger with choices of beef, pork carnitas and chicken. The platter comes with pickled red onions that are zingy, soft potato buns that are chewy and artisan-type, and roasted garlic BBQ sauce and honey chipotle BBQ sauce.

Cherry Cola Baby Back Ribs (Half Rack P695 / Full Rack P985)
Served with homestyle fries and a second side of your choice
Fingerlickin’ gooooooood. I’ve got to move the Original aside for a bit as this cherry cola baby back ribs are “ooh lala forget my banana” g-double-O-d good. The smoky glaze had this vibrant cola-tasting dimly sweet almost almond-y flavor on its basting. The tender ribs are meaty yet separate from the bones easily. Markedly, the ribs are slow-smoked for hours on fragrant pecan wood. They have another version in the Honey-Chipotle Blueberry Baby Back Ribs (Half Rack P695 / Full Rack P985). Also served with homestyle fries and a second side of your choice.
Because I didn’t fight my way on top of the food chain to be just a vegetarian, leave me alone in the happiness of my Chili’s Craft Burgers and Baby Back ribs.
